How much does adult day care cost?
For families who qualify for Medicaid Long-Term Care, our services are completely FREE — including transportation, meals and activities. We also accept Medicaid Diversion, private pay, Long-Term Care insurance and VA Aid & Attendance. Call (786) 952-7944.
Do you offer free transportation?
Yes. FREE door-to-door transportation within a 15-mile radius of our two locations. We cover Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Doral, Miami Lakes, Medley, Miami Springs, Opa-locka and surrounding areas.
Is the staff bilingual?
Our entire staff is 100% bilingual (Spanish and English). Every interaction — nursing, activities, reception — is offered in your loved one's preferred language.
Do you accept members with dementia or Alzheimer's?
Yes — early and moderate stages. Our programs are designed for cognitive stimulation and our staff is trained in memory care.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Closed on weekends. Most members attend 3-5 days per week.
Do you have a Free Trial Day?
Yes. A complete day at NO cost and NO commitment. Includes door-to-door transportation, all three meals, every activity and nursing care. Call (786) 952-7944.
Do you accept Florida Medicaid?
Yes — we are a contracted provider with all SMMC Medicaid plans in Miami-Dade: Sunshine Health, Simply Healthcare, Humana, Aetna and Molina. We accept Medicaid Long-Term Care, Medicaid Diversion and Medicaid CDC+.
Can veterans attend?
Yes. Many veterans and their surviving spouses qualify for VA Aid & Attendance, which covers our services. We help you apply for free.
How do I apply for Medicaid Long-Term Care?

What is Medicaid CDC+?
Medicaid CDC+ lets the family decide how Medicaid money is spent on the senior's care. You can hire a family member as a paid caregiver and choose your day care center.
Do you offer transportation from Miami Lakes, Doral or Hialeah Gardens?
Yes — they're within our free 15-mile radius. Pickup 6:45-11:00 AM · Return: leaves the center at 1:00 PM or 2:30 PM, your choice, in accessible, climate-controlled vans.
How many meals a day do you serve?
Three: hot breakfast, full Latino-style lunch and afternoon snack. Everything freshly prepared on-site with options for diabetics, low-sodium and Cuban cuisine.
Is there a registered nurse at the center?
Yes — a Florida-licensed registered nurse is on-site every day. She manages medications, monitors vitals and coordinates with each member's doctor in Spanish or English.
What does the activity program look like?
Daily activities include: adapted exercise, dominos, cognitive games, dancing to Cuban music, arts & crafts, gardening, hair salon, nail care and outings. Fridays: live music. Birthdays are celebrated with cake and bolero.
How many members per caregiver?
1 caregiver for every 4 members — well below Florida's regulatory maximum. More attention, faster response and personalized care.

What's the atmosphere like for Cuban families?
Our center feels like a Cuban living room: Spanish first, dominos after lunch, Celia Cruz on Fridays, cafecito with the family at pick-up. Menu features ropa vieja, picadillo, lechon and arroz con pollo.
How do you help the family caregiver?
Our program gives the family caregiver 9 hours of daily respite while the senior is cared for, accompanied and medically supervised. Many adult children go back to work with peace of mind.
